My recent work

This tableau maps out more than 70 countries on their food production in 2014. The food production in China tops the world and accounts to US$24,717m, according to the statistics from FAO. No other country can reach more than US$10,000m, not even for the USA and UK. Speculations go with the huge population of China which is more than 1.379 billion reference to World Bank. However, the gross food production is not necesarily correlated to the number of population. India has only a couple thousand millions people less than China. However, its food production accounts to US$1,796m which is nearly half of the production of USA.
